Job Overview
Board of Investment Prime Ministers Office is recruiting for Business Facilitation Officer in Islamabad. The role sits at the point where businesses meet government procedure, so the officer helps companies understand and move through regulatory requirements and processes.
The work covers business registration, licensing and compliance guidance, and it includes hands-on handling of applications rather than only advice. A large part of the job is application processing.
The officer starts the application process and enters data for new applications, or appends additional documents to an existing application. Before anything is submitted, the officer confirms the entered data with the client and corrects any mistake the client points out.
The officer also helps businesses find and use available government incentives and support programmes, answers their inquiries with accurate information, and works to keep customer satisfaction high through timely and effective assistance. Complaints and issues raised by businesses are addressed and resolved.
The officer keeps records of business interactions and transactions, maintains and updates databases of business clients and regulatory requirements, and prepares regular reports on Business Facilitation Centre activities, performance metrics and business trends. Data is analysed to find areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
The role also involves preparing reports, documents and presentations, liaising with government agencies, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders, facilitating communication between businesses and regulatory authorities, and developing marketing materials and strategies to attract and support businesses. Any other tasks assigned by the Competent Authority are part of the post.
