Job Overview
The Medical and Teaching Institution Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) / KGMC, Hayatabad Peshawar, and its constituent units are recruiting for a set of administrative, technical and support posts. Applications are invited from candidates across Pakistan and are processed through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA), the testing agency handling this recruitment.
The posts are based at the institution in Hayatabad, Peshawar. The advertised positions cover database administration, network administration, security, procurement and purchase, civil engineering, finance, network and biomedical technical support, and trainee roles in human resources and quality assurance.
Each post carries its own qualification and experience conditions, and several posts are offered on a contractual basis for three years, extendable unless stated otherwise. The two trainee positions are non-extendable and carry a stipend.
This recruitment replaces earlier advertisements for the same positions, which have been withdrawn. Candidates who applied previously must submit fresh applications through ETEA; earlier applications will not be considered.

Positions and Eligibility
Database Administrator
- Qualification: MSc Computer Science / BCS (Hons) or 16 years equivalent qualification from recognized university.
Network Administrator
- Qualification: Master or BS Degree in Computer Sciences from HEC recognized University /Institution.
Biomedical Technician
- Experience: 02 years post qualification experience as Biomedical Technician in Government registered hospitals.
Security Supervisor
- Qualification: Retired Subedar / Naib Subedar from Pakistan Army/Frontier Corps.
HR Trainee
- Experience: No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Database Administrator: manage high-transaction databases, data backup and recovery, and database security.
- Database Administrator: carry out disaster recovery on Sun/Linux solutions.
- Database Administrator: migrate legacy hospital data into a modern HMIS.
- Network Administrator: administer networks and servers, including Windows directory setup, Linux, and manageable switches on fiber optic, wireless and firewall solutions.
- Network Administrator: manage a fiber optic network of more than 500 nodes.
- Security Officer: supervise security personnel and enforce discipline.
- Security Officer: manage institutional security.
- Procurement / Purchase Officer: handle procurement and purchase work in line with the KPPRA Act/Rules and other relevant government policies.
- Sub Engineer (Civil): work as a Sub Engineer in a public, semi-autonomous, autonomous or private sector organization or hospital.
- Finance Assistant: perform finance and accounting duties in the relevant field.
- Network Technician: carry out computer network troubleshooting.
Employment Terms & Important Notes
- The posts are contractual for 3 years and extendable, except the HR Trainee and Quality Assurance Trainee positions, which are contractual for 3 years, non-extendable, and carry a stipend.
- Candidates who applied against the previous advertisements must submit fresh applications through ETEA. Applications submitted against the previous advertisements will not be considered and no claim will be entertained on their basis.
- Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test. Detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority, and a candidate found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified.
- Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.
- Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
- Errors or omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.
- A candidate may be disqualified or excluded from interview if convicted by a court of law, dismissed from public service, knowingly furnishes false information, suppresses information that may lead to disqualification, attempts to obtain support for candidature by improper means, submits forged certificates, tempers with entries in age or academic certificates, or misbehaves in the interview.
- Applications of candidates who do not give correct information while filling the online application form will not only be rejected but will also be proceeded against, and strict action will be taken.
How to Apply
- Do not send documents or testimonials to the ETEA office after applying online. Copies of testimonials will be provided by candidates who qualify the screening test, when required by ETEA or the appointing authority for scrutiny.
- The test date, time and venue will be mentioned on the roll number slip. No separate call letter will be issued for the screening test by post or courier.
