Eligibility & Qualifications
- Candidates must hold one of the qualifications listed in the vacancy notice, which cover postgraduate and master's level awards in fields such as economics, finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, engineering and related disciplines.
- The position requires 15 years of experience.
- The maximum age limit is 62 years.
- The role requires a background of rich experience and a wide understanding of development projects, especially CPEC related projects.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Chinese counterparts in an efficient and effective manner in order to support and facilitate implementation of CPEC projects with best practices for efficiency, effectiveness and value for money.
- Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of a project lifecycle, including the preparation of initial project investment proposals, the preparation of feasibility studies, and the appointment of consultants or advisors for the project preparation feasibility study where required.
- Assist the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives in the processing of CPEC related projects in accordance with the requirements of the bilateral understandings between the Governments of Pakistan and China expressed through the CPEC Long Term Plan as well as the successive sessions of the Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC).
