The Urban Unit, a department under the Planning and Development Board of the Government of Punjab, is hiring a Research Analyst Economics. This is a contract position with two openings, open to candidates across Pakistan.
The role focuses on economic analysis and policy support within the Urban Unit's projects.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably in Economics and/or Political Science, from an HEC-recognized institution.
- With 16 years of education: 1.5 to 3 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year preferred in the development sector.
- With 18 years of education: 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Age limit: 18 to 35 years.
- Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis on economic development trends, draft reports and policy recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders on sustainable economic strategies.
- Provide insights into market dynamics and socioeconomic impacts of various development projects.
- Support in executing project activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.
- Develop frameworks for monitoring economic development indicators and assessing project impact.
- Develop implementation roadmaps and work plans to ensure timely and effective project execution.
