Job Overview
Research Associate Economics is open at The Urban Unit. This is a contract role with three available positions, open to candidates from all districts of Pakistan.
The role is centered on supporting economic research and planning.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of education in Economics from an HEC recognized institution.
- Minimum 0-1 years of relevant experience in research and planning.
- Age limit is 18 to 35 years.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on political economy, identifying key products for each region based on data and evidence.
- Assist in identifying and developing frameworks for analyzing existing policies and reforms.
- Assist in coordinating with and engaging other government departments to gather information as required.
- Assist in mapping potential areas for economic interventions and accordingly propose projects.
- Review secondary data and conduct analysis to support policy and program research, and propose recommendations.
