- One of these qualifications is required: MSc Home Economics (Food and Nutrition); MSc Disaster Economics; MS Disaster Economics; MPhil Environmental Economics & Policy; MS Transportation Engineering; Master of International and Development Economics (MIDEC).
- Age limit: maximum 50 years.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with public, private and Chinese counterparts for infrastructure-related CPEC projects in an efficient and effective manner in the light of the long-term plan, and mature, prioritize and facilitate implementation consistent with best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of a project lifecycle, including preparation of initial project investment proposals, preparation of feasibility studies, and appointment of consultants or advisors for project preparation feasibility study where required.
- Assist in approval of projects in line with the requirements of bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan and the rules and regulations of the Government of Pakistan, by giving expert advice on the structuring and appraisal of infrastructure projects.
- Assist in the identification and management of any risks relating to infrastructure projects.
- Prepare progress reports on infrastructure projects.
