Responsibilities
- Liaise with public, private and Chinese counterparts on all maritime and blue economy related projects, working efficiently and effectively in line with the long-term plan, and mature, prioritize and facilitate implementation consistent with best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of a project lifecycle, including preparing initial project investment proposals, preparing feasibility studies, and appointing consultants or advisors for project preparation feasibility studies where required.
- Assist in the approval of projects under the bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan and the rules and regulations of the Government of Pakistan, giving expert advice on the structuring and appraisal of all maritime, blue economy, offshore, coastal and Gwadar projects.
- Assist in identifying and managing any risks relating to maritime, blue economy and Gwadar projects.
- Prepare progress reports on maritime, blue economy and Gwadar projects.
