Job Overview
Ministry of Poverty Alleviation & Social Safety (PASS) is recruiting for Support Staff in Islamabad. The role is based in Islamabad and sits within the ministry's Project Management Unit (PMU), which handles the day-to-day running of project activities.
The work is practical office and field support rather than desk-based professional work, so the post suits someone who is comfortable moving between indoor tasks and outdoor assignments. The Support Staff member keeps official paperwork and project materials moving: collecting and delivering documents and correspondence, and handling photocopying, printing, scanning, filing and distribution.
The role also carries a logistics element, covering meeting rooms, office supplies and the project vehicle and its equipment, and providing support during meetings, workshops, field visits and other project activities. Keeping common office spaces clean and properly arranged is part of the same responsibility.
Because the position supports a government development project, the notice asks for good conduct, reliability, punctuality and basic communication skills. Experience with a government office, a development project or a reputable organisation is preferred.
