Job Overview
This contract position sits within the Project Management Unit (PMU) at Haveli Kahuta, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
The role supports the Project Director and specialists by handling data entry, record maintenance, and general office correspondence using ICT tools.
Day-to-day work involves typing notes, letters, and files, drafting correspondence, and entering text and numerical data from source documents within set time limits.
You will also compile and verify data for accuracy, sort information by priority, review outputs for errors, and research missing details for incomplete documents.
The job requires strict confidentiality, adherence to data integrity and security policies, and proper use of office equipment.
You will generate reports, store completed work, perform backups, scan and print files, and respond to queries for information.
Any other duty assigned by higher authorities is also part of the role.
Eligibility and Qualification
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria
- Qualification: BA (IT) / BCS, or BS Computer Science (BSCS), or BE Computer Science
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years
- Domicile Quota: Open
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Director/Specialists in implementation of project activities
- Maintain all records of relevant project activities using ICT
- Put up draft notes/letters, files, and maintain their record using ICT
- Carry out all typing work of the section on laptop/computer
- Carry out noting, drafting, and all types of correspondence
- Insert data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
- Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Apply data program techniques and procedures
