Job Overview
The Project Management Unit (PMU) at Sultanabad Jutal, Gilgit Baltistan, operating under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, is hiring a Contract Assistant / Data Entry Operator.
This role supports the Project Director and specialists in implementing project activities, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate records using ICT tools.
As a Data Entry Operator, you will handle typing, noting, drafting, and correspondence, while also entering and verifying data from source documents.
You will generate reports, perform backups, scan and print files, and ensure data confidentiality and security.
The role requires strict compliance with data integrity policies and proper use of office equipment.
This is a contract position at grade PPS-5, with an open domicile quota.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- Qualification: BA (IT) / BCS (Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology, Bachelor of Computer Science, BS Computer Science, or BE Computer Science)
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
- Domicile Quota: Open
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Director/Specialists in implementation of project activities
- Maintain all records of relevant project activities using ICT
- Put up draft notes/letters, files, and maintain their records using ICT
- Carry out all typing work of the section on laptop/computer
- Perform noting, drafting, and all types of correspondence
- Insert data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
- Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct incompatibilities if possible, and check output
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Apply data program techniques and procedures
