Job Overview

This is a contract position at grade PPS-8, and the officer will work closely with the Project Director, the Ministry, and the Federal Directorate of Education to shape how the unit communicates with its audiences.

The role sits at the intersection of media, public relations, and internal coordination.

You will be the voice of the organization in many settings, drafting press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other materials that explain the unit's work.

You will also handle media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson, so confidence in front of journalists and the public matters.

Beyond writing and media, the job involves building and maintaining a media database, tracking coverage, and measuring the impact of communications efforts.

You will also coordinate publicity events and step in to manage conflicts as they arise, escalating to management when needed.

Proficiency in design and publishing software is expected, as you will produce or oversee visual content.

This is a hands-on communications role for someone who can work independently, think strategically about messaging, and keep multiple projects moving at once.
