The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is hiring a Communication Cum Coordination Officer for the Project Management Unit (PMU) at Sharda Neelum, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
The role is central to shaping how the PMU communicates with the public, media, and stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Project Director, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT), and the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) to craft and execute a communications strategy that reaches the right audiences.
The job involves writing and editing a wide range of content, from press releases and website copy to annual reports and speeches.
You will also act as a spokesperson, handle media inquiries, and build relationships with journalists.
Beyond writing, the role demands strong organizational skills.
You will maintain a media database, track media coverage, and analyze metrics to measure the impact of communications efforts.
Proficiency in design and publishing software is essential, as is the ability to manage conflicts and escalate issues to management when needed.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
Eligibility and Qualification
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria
- Master's degree in Arts (MA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Maximum age limit: 62 years
- Domicile quota: Open (all provinces/regions eligible)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate with PD/MOFEPT/FDE to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on target audience
- Write, edit, and distribute content including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material
- Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organization
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists and maintain a media database
- Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand and coordinate publicity events as required
- Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics
- Proficiency in design and publishing software
- Manage conflict as it arises and escalate to management
