The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is hiring a Deputy Project Director for its Project Management Unit (PMU) in Tando Muhammad Khan, Sindh.
This is a contract position at PPS-9 grade, responsible for the technical and administrative oversight of education infrastructure projects in the region.

Eligibility and Qualification

- Qualification: Project Management / Civil Engineer

- Experience: 10 years proven experience in the relevant fields
- Age Limit: Max 62 years

Responsibilities
- Oversee that the design, specifications, and execution of BOQs are as per PC-I
- Evaluate and implement civil works
- Determine the best engineering method or practice to accomplish the project
- Estimate cost and identify appropriate tools and technologies for the job
- Meet the timeline of the project
- Supervise construction staff, ensure training in equipment use, safety gear access, and milestone achievement
- Provide solutions or address issues arising during or before project implementation to ensure adherence to all government guidelines
- Coordinate with CDA/LG/EPA in case any issue arises
- Maintain records of tendering process and procurement as per Govt. Policies/PPRA rules, inventory taking, and distribution of procured items as per PC-I to concerned institutions
- Ensure supply chain needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
