- At least 5 years of relevant experience in wildlife management, forestry, or conservation, preferably in a government or public sector organization.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of provincial and national wildlife laws, protected area management, and modern conservation techniques.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in report writing and data management.
- Domicile: Candidates must possess a domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (as per provincial quota rules).
- Age: Typically between 25 and 35 years, with relaxation for government servants as per rules.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise wildlife conservation and management activities within the Kohat Wildlife Division.
- Implement provincial wildlife policies, rules, and regulations in the assigned area.
- Conduct field inspections and monitor wildlife populations, habitat conditions, and illegal activities such as poaching or logging.
- Prepare and submit management plans, progress reports, and budget proposals to the departmental head office.
- Coordinate with local communities, NGOs, and other government departments for conservation awareness and conflict resolution.
- Manage and train subordinate staff, including game watchers and forest guards.
- Ensure the maintenance of wildlife sanctuaries, national parks, and other protected areas under the division's jurisdiction.
