Job Overview
The Director (Finance) will lead the financial operations of the Punjab Education Initiatives Management Authority (PEIMA), a body responsible for implementing education initiatives across Punjab.
This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the authority's top management, and carries responsibility for the financial health and compliance of the entire organization.
The role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, and fund management, ensuring that all financial activities align with government regulations and public procurement rules.
The Director will oversee bank account operations as a co-signatory, manage special drawing accounts, and coordinate with the Auditor General of Pakistan for internal and external audits.
The position also requires expertise in ERP-based financial systems and reporting, as well as experience with medium to high revenue projects and programs.
Given the scale of PEIMA's operations, the Director (Finance) will play a critical role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficient use of public funds.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- ACCA / ICMA / CA or Minimum 16 years of Education in the field of Financial Management / Business Management & Accounts and Commerce or equivalent from HEC recognized national or foreign University.
- At least Ten (10) years of verifiable relevant experience in public/private sectors, including at least 3 years at senior level in a medium and large sized organization.
- Experience in Strategic financial planning and budgeting, Fund management and bank account operations (as co-signatory), Procurement Rules and public procurement processes, Government accounting procedures, special drawing accounts, and disbursement mechanisms.
- Experience in Internal and external audit coordination (Auditor General of Pakistan), ERP-based financial systems and reporting.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience of dealing Medium to High Revenue projects/ programs reporting requirements, disbursement procedures, submission of withdrawal application, maintenance of Special Drawing Accounts and Government accounting procedures.
- Degree Level: Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) in Accounting, Business Administration, Chartered Accountancy, Commerce, Finance, or Public Finance.
- Age: 35 – 55 years. Gender: Both.

Responsibilities
