Has announced 21 project-based vacancies for Commodity Price Manager (1 post) and Commodity Price Coordinator (20 posts). These positions are part of a task valid until June 2028, aimed at strengthening price monitoring and consumer protection over Punjab.

The Commodity Price Manager will be located at Headquarters Lahore, as Commodity Price Coordinators will be deployed in various districts such as Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Multan, and others. The roles suit experienced professionals with backgrounds in management, supply chain, economics, records analysis, or IT.

Applicants with 16 years of education and applicable experience are encouraged to put in. These aren’t permanent government jobs but give competitive project-based pay scales (PPS).

Salary & Compensation

Estimated market salary: PKR 120,000 – 250,000 per month.

Qualification

Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years of education) in Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field for Commodity Price Manager. For Commodity Price Coordinator, a 16-year degree in Computer Science, equivalent field, or Diploma in Details Technology is called for.

  • Commodity Price Manager: Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years) in Management, Supply Chain Management, or applicable field.
  • Commodity Price Manager: Minimum 5 years of experience in Economics, Information Analysis, Import/Export Mapping, Marketplace Research, or Field Management.
  • Commodity Price Manager: Experience in Food, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields preferred.
  • Commodity Price Coordinator: 16 years of education in Computer Science or equivalent field, or Diploma in Information Technology.
  • Commodity Price Coordinator: Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Age limit: 35 years for Commodity Price Manager; 21 years for Commodity Price Coordinator.
  • Pakistani citizenship needed.
  • Government employees must provide NOC from their department.

Role Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce prices of key commodities throughout assigned districts.
  • Round up and analyze market figures to spot price violations and tendencies.
  • Organize with district administrations and law enforcement for price control operations.
  • Get ready reports on price fluctuations and consumer protection matters.
  • Run field inspections and surveys to make sure compliance with price lineups.
  • Oversee group activities and supply training to field workforce (for Manager role).
  • Liaise with stakeholders covering traders, consumer bodies, and government departments.
