The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is hiring an HVAC Supervisor for its Lahore office.
This is a contract position within the Information Technology industry, reporting to the division in Lahore district.
The role focuses on supervising all HVAC operation and maintenance works, ensuring that environmental control systems function efficiently across PITB facilities.
As an HVAC Supervisor, you will be the key point of contact for ASTP contractors, handling tenant issues and coordinating repair and replacement of faulty components.
You will also lead the day-to-day operations of the department, determine appropriate HVAC equipment, and design airflow control systems.
The job involves reviewing plans for new construction to ensure compatibility with existing systems and recommending personnel actions such as hiring or promotion.
This position is ideal for someone with a technical background in associate engineering or sciences, combined with hands-on supervisory experience in HVAC systems.
You will work in a government IT board environment, where maintaining optimal building conditions is critical for uninterrupted operations.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (12 years of education) is required.
- Degree area should be Associate Engineering/Sciences.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Gender: Male.
- Age: 24 to 50 years.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all HVAC operation and maintenance works.
- Deal with ASTP contractors.
- Check and rectify tenant issues.
- Supervise major overhaul or installation of environmental control systems to ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks of work in progress or upon completion to assure acceptability.
- Oversee repair and replacement of faulty thermostats, wiring, controls, and compressors.
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department.
- Determine the appropriate HVAC equipment.
- Design airflow control systems.
- Design modifications to existing systems to achieve efficient operation.
