Job Description
The National IT Board (NITB), a important government body under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, is hiring a Contract Project Coordinator and Management Professional. This role is based in Islamabad and falls under Grade PPS-9.
The position involves coordinating project activities, timelines, and deliverables over multiple inter-agency engagements. You’ll prepare and uphold project vendor coordination, implementation documentation, decision logs, and progress reports.
Drafting meeting minutes, official briefs, and correspondence on SRS, FRS, and PSDP progress reports is a core responsibility. You’ll track action items throughout all PMU functions, assemble feedback, and escalate delays to the Project Director.
The function area also supports stakeholder communications and vendor coordination with the Planning Commission and MoIT&T. This is best-suited for experienced professionals with a background in public sector communication, coordination, and technical writing. The position provides a shot to contribute to national IT projects and policy rollout.
Salary & Compensation
Estimated marketplace salary: PKR 150,000 – 200,000 per month.
Qualification
Applicants must grip a Master's degree in Management Sciences or IT (16 years of education) with majors in Communications. PMP/Prince2/CAPM certification is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in public sector communication, coordination, and technical writing is called for. Age limit is 55 years (relaxation already added).
