Job Description
Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) is looking for a Dispatch Rider to join its administrative crew on a contract basis. The role is based in Islamabad and involves protected, timely delivery and collection of official documents, parcels, and correspondence.
The Dispatch Rider will support PDA's daily operations by ensuring dependable courier solutions though maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. This position is ideal for experienced riders who are familiar with government offices and can tackle sensitive materials with discretion.
The operate domain demands strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols, as well as proper maintenance of the assigned motorcycle.
Salary & Compensation
Estimated market salary: PKR 50,000 – 100,000 per month.
Qualification
Candidates must have at least Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate) and a valid Motorcycle Driving License. Fundamental literacy in Urdu is required; ability to read easy English documents is an edge.
- Minimum Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate).
- Valid Motorcycle Driving License.
- Core literacy in Urdu; ability to read plain English documents preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or messenger.
- Experience with government organizations, public sector entities, or corporate offices preferred.
- Crucial competencies: time management, reliability, protected driving, integrity, confidentiality, record keeping, professional conduct, physical fitness, buyer solution.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect official documents, files, parcels, and correspondence from government offices, banks, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Confirm timely completion of assigned delivery schedules and obtain acknowledgements/proof of delivery.
- Manage confidential documents with integrity and discretion.
- Assist in transporting compact office supplies and materials between locations.
- Support administrative teams in urgent dispatch requirements and maintain accurate records of daily dispatch activities.
- Make sure the assigned motorcycle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained; monitor fuel consumption and report maintenance wants.
- Maintain valid registration, insurance, and other required vehicle documents.
- Observe all traffic laws and road safety regulations, wear appropriate safety equipment, and report accidents or delays immediately.
