Job Overview
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is looking for a Proramme Manager (Networks) to lead its network operations in Lahore.
This is a contract position within the Information Technology sector, reporting to the provincial IT board that drives e-governance and digital initiatives across Punjab.
In this role, you will be responsible for the stability and security of the organisation's IT infrastructure.
That means overseeing LAN/WAN setups, maintaining servers, firewalls, and routers, and ensuring network services are always available.
You will also implement data backup and disaster recovery plans, supervise IT staff, and coordinate with vendors for technical procurements.
A key part of the job is developing strategies to optimise network performance and strengthen cybersecurity.
You will work closely with other departments to align network capabilities with PITB's broader digital service delivery goals.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- MS/M-Phil (18 years of education) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Management Sciences, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Age between 27 and 45 years.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities

- Ensure high availability of network services and system integrity.
- Oversee configuration and maintenance of servers, firewalls, and routers.
- Implement and monitor data backup and disaster recovery plans.
