Job Description
The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA) is hiring a Database Administrator for its Lahore office on a contractual basis. This role is piece of the PERA Contractual Team task and is classified at level SPPP-03.
The Database Administrator will be responsible for demonstrating sophisticated database administration, performance analysis, and tuning skills. The position involves designing and developing databases, figures warehouses, and multidimensional databases.
This is a government job in Lahore, Punjab, offering an prospect to function with a regulatory authority on critical records infrastructure.
Salary & Compensation
Estimated marketplace salary: PKR 50,000 – 100,000 per month.
Qualification
Applicants must have a Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in IT, Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, or a applicable field from a recognized university. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience is needed, with at least 2 years in the public sector.
- Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) in IT, Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or relevant field.
- Years post-qualification experience in relevant field.
- At least 2 years experience in public sector.
- Experience in personal entities accepted if registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or Public Sector Regulatory Authority.
- Experience in SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
- Experience in TSQL/PLSQL programming.
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning using Python.
- Experience in MS SQL and MySQL tuning.
- Insight of computing and storage systems using System Center Information Protection Manager.
- Experience in data preparation, visualization, analysis, and dashboard development using Tableau/MS Power BI.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and build databases, figures warehouses, and multidimensional databases.
- Design and carry out measures, measure groups, granularity, calculated measures, and aggregate functions.
- Put in place cubes and configure aspects in a cube.
- Grow reports using prescriptive analytics and predictive modelling (regression, classification, clustering.
- Configure authentication and authorization for reporting fixes.
- Carry out interactivity in reports and configure report records sources and datasets.
- Handle and keep up SQL database server and other storage devices.
- Monitor and tune database server performance.
- Form backup schedules using System Center Information Protection Manager and make sure recovery procedures.
