Job Description

The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA) is hiring a Head Internal Affairs to lead its Internal Affairs & Intelligence Wing. This contractual role at the SPPP-02 level is based in Lahore and reports right away to senior management.

The position is responsible for setting up a plain system of inspects. Balances over field enforcement team, identifying corruption hazards, misuse of authority, bribery, misconduct, and operational loopholes. The Head Internal Affairs will suggest corrective or disciplinary action located on thorough investigations and intelligence-based monitoring.

This role suits experienced professionals from Armed Forces, Police, or other law enforcement agencies who have a sturdy background in internal oversight and intelligence operations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in premier intelligence institutions in Pakistan.

The position provides an opportunity to shape governance and integrity inside a key regulatory body in Punjab.

Salary & Compensation

Estimated marketplace salary: PKR 25,000 – 60,000 per month.

Qualification

Applicants must keep a Masters or Bachelors degree (Hons) in any discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. For MS/M-Phil (18 years education): 8 years of experience needed. For Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years education): 10 years of experience called for. Experience must be in Armed Forces, Police or any other Law Enforcement Agency.

  • MS/M-Phil (18 years education) with 8 years experience OR Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years education) with 10 years experience.
  • Experience in Armed Forces, Police or any other Law Enforcement Agency.
  • Preference for applicants with experience in premier intelligence bodies in Pakistan.
  • Needed Division First (60% and above) in applicable degree.
  • Reliable leadership, staff building, problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and figures analysis instruments.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the Internal Affairs Wing at headquarters and field level.
  • Create and implement mechanisms for internal reviews and balances over field formations and enforcement workforce.
  • Manage intelligence-based monitoring of field staff activities, carry out, integrity, and public dealing.
  • Identify systemic loopholes, procedural gaps, misuse of authority, corruption dangers, bribery, and misconduct patterns.
  • Manage preliminary scrutiny of complaints, confidential reports, vigilance inputs, and field intelligence.
  • Offer early assessment of cases requiring Efficiency & Disciplinary Proceedings.
  • Advise initiation of fact-finding inquiries, official investigations, disciplinary action, or administrative corrective measures.
  • Submit periodic analytical reports to competent authority regarding field performance, integrity threats, and corrective actions.
