Job Description
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is hiring an Awareness And Outreach officer for its Lahore office. This role centers on data gathering, categorisation and enlisting of unregistered SMEs over sectors using open figures reservoirs.
The officer will target enlisted SMEs to register them on SMERP, meeting monthly, quarterly and annual registration targets fix in the Communication Game plan & Company Blueprint.
The position also involves reaching out to Chambers of Commerce and Fields (CCI), sectoral associations and other information centres to broaden SMEDA’s SME records pool. Using contemporary research resources and techniques to pinpoint missing data sets throughout Pakistan’s MSME space is a important responsibility.
The officer will study proven ways from countries/states with alike settings that have successfully achieved universal MSME registration. This contract role is ideal for professionals with a background in enterprise administration, development studies, economics, international relations, management, public administration, statistics or related fields.
The position presents an prospect to contribute to SME sector development in Punjab through data-driven outreach and registration initiatives.
Salary & Compensation
Estimated marketplace salary: PKR 50,000 – 100,000 per month.
Qualification
Applicants must keep a Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in Firm Administration.. Development Studies — Economics.. International Relations.. Management — Project Management.. Public Administration.. Statistics.. Management Sciences — Administrative Sciences.. Business and Management Sciences.. Management Information System..
Or Management and Technology, which is why minimum 2 years of applicable experience is needed. Age limit: 24 to 45 years — Both male and female applicants are eligible.

Role Responsibilities
- Information gathering, categorisation and enlisting of sector-wise unregistered SMEs using on offer records reservoirs.
- Targeting enlisted SMEs for registration on SMERP platform.
- Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual registration targets as per Communication Plan & Business Plan.
- Reaching out to Chambers of Commerce and Sectors (CCI), sectoral associations and other figures centres to broaden SMEDA’s SME data pool.
- Using up-to-date research tools and techniques to spot missing information sets over MSME space in Pakistan.
- Studying and recommending proven approaches from countries/states with comparable settings for universal MSME registration.
- Any other applicable job assigned by the Authority from time to time.
