Job Description
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is hiring a Data Harmonization and Reconciliation Analyst to work on SME data integration projects in Lahore. This role involves liaising with federal and provincial government departments, academia, field, and development sector institutions to assemble, assimilate, and reconcile SME-related data.
The analyst will round up and harmonize data from multiple sources such as surveys, registrations, government databases, and partner bodies, securing consistency in formats, classifications, and standards.
Key responsibilities involve performing data reconciliation and validation to spot discrepancies, duplicates, missing information, and inconsistencies over SME datasets, and coordinating with stakeholders to guarantee data accuracy and integrity. The position also involves developing and keeping up lively data grade assurance procedures.
This is a contract position set in Lahore, offering an prospect to contribute to data-driven policy making for compact and medium enterprises in Punjab.
Salary & Compensation
Estimated marketplace salary: PKR 70,000 – 150,000 per month.
Qualification
Candidates must have a Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in applicable fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or related disciplines. A minimum of 2 years of related experience is called for.
- Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data harmonization, reconciliation, or related data management roles.
- Age between 24 and 45 years.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Experience with government databases and stakeholder coordination is preferred.
Role Responsibilities
- Liaise with federal and provincial government departments, academia, sector, and development sector for SME data gathering and reconciliation.
- Gather, consolidate, and harmonize SME data from surveys, registrations, government databases, and partner institutions.
- Make sure consistency in data formats, classifications, and standards throughout multiple datasets.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation to pinpoint discrepancies, duplicates, missing information, and inconsistencies.
- Arrange with stakeholders to confirm data accuracy and integrity.
- Create and maintain active data standard assurance procedures.
- Perform any other applicable jobs assigned by the Authority.
