Job Overview
The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) is hiring Assistant Directors for Field Survey Operations to lead district-level survey teams.
Each of the 41 posts is assigned to a specific district, covering the whole of Punjab.
The role focuses on strengthening cadastral and engineering surveys, boundary demarcation, and field operations management, supporting the authority's modern land record and GIS initiatives.
Selected officers will manage survey operations in their district, coordinate with revenue staff, and ensure accurate geospatial data collection.
The three-year contract may be extended based on performance.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following criteria
- 16 years of education with a degree in Geomatics Engineering, GIS, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Preference for experience in cadastral surveys, engineering surveys, boundary demarcation, and field operations management
- Age limit: 25 to 40 years (upper relaxation per Government of Punjab rules)
- Open to male and female candidates
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field survey operations at the district level
- Conduct cadastral and engineering surveys for land record accuracy
- Perform boundary demarcation and resolve related field issues
- Oversee GIS data collection and integration into land record systems
- Coordinate with revenue and survey teams to ensure timely completion of projects
