Job Overview
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its Lahore-based team.
This is a contract position within the Information Technology division, focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of software products and systems developed by the board.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans and test cases, reviewing quality specifications, and providing feedback on technical design documents.
You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify system requirements and ensure that all software meets the highest standards before release.
The will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with hands-on experience in both web and mobile applications.
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly Agile and SCRUM methodologies, is essential.
Knowledge of performance and load testing will be considered a plus.
This is an for a QA professional to contribute to impactful government IT projects in Punjab.

Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in Advanced Computing, Computational Science, Computer Engineering/Sciences, Computer Networks, Information Engineering/Sciences, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Management Information System, Manageme…
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance.
- Age between 25 and 45 years.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Review specification documents and provide feedback on any loopholes in the requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to identify system requirements.
- Work with various web and mobile applications to ensure quality.
- Apply knowledge of performance and load testing as a plus.
