Quantum Valley Pakistan, a planned initiative under the Ministry of Defence, is hiring a Chief Technology Officer to lead its technology vision and figures center operations. This contract role, graded PPS-11, is located in Islamabad and focuses on building expandable, resilient digital infrastructure.
The CTO will grow and execute targeted technology roadmaps, translating business objectives into practical technical blueprints. Central responsibilities contain designing and boosting information center infrastructure, tuning operational expenditure, and securing high offering availability.
The role also involves leading procurement plan, vendor management, and SLA governance. This position suits a senior technology leader with thorough expertise in records center management, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and new technologies like AI and quantum computing.
Quantum Valley Pakistan is leading quantum technologies, making this role key for national technological gain. The CTO will collaborate with enterprise architecture teams and engage with corporate and client stakeholders to guarantee customer-centric solution delivery.
Salary & Compensation
Estimated market salary: PKR 70,000 – 150,000 per month.
Qualification
Applicants must grip a PhD or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Details Technology, or a related field, with expertise in Figures Centers, Rising Technologies, and Quantum Computing preferred. The role calls for a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in technology leadership and information center operations.
- PhD or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in technology leadership, records center operations, and new technologies.
- Strong record in Figures Center infrastructure management, covering design, migration, and upgrades.
- Hands-on understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, network security, and cloud integration.
- Understanding of quantum communication systems, post-quantum encryption, and R&D coordination is a major upside.
- Preferred certifications: CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Remedies Architect, ITIL v4 Specialist, or equivalent.
