Job Description
Quantum Valley Pakistan, a venture under the Ministry of Defence, is hiring a Finance Manager on a contract basis at grade PPS-10. The role is based in Islamabad and involves managing financial operations for the task cells.
you’ll get ready yearly function schemes, cash plans, and NIS statements, and confirm timely fund allocation and release. Responsibilities cover updating physical and financial progress on iPAS, getting ready reports for assess meetings, and handling financial matters for workshops and seminars.
The position also covers payment requests, travel claims, petty cash management, and general ledger maintenance. You’ll aid tender documentation, bid evaluation, and invoice verification. Administrative duties contain salary processing, financial record keeping, and inventory management.
Liaison with AGPR, Planning Commission, and Finance Division is needed. This role suits experienced finance professionals with a background in PSDP or donor-funded projects, preferably with UN or international agency experience.
Salary & Compensation
Estimated marketplace salary: PKR 120,000 – 250,000 per month.
Qualification
Candidates must keep an MS/BS in Finance, Accounting, Management, or MBA from an HEC-recognized university, or expert qualifications such as CA, ICMA, or ACCA (section or completely qualified). A strong academic background in financial management, auditing, or charge & management accounting is preferred.
- MS/BS in Finance, Accounting, Management, or MBA from an HEC-recognized university.
- OR professional qualifications: CA, ICMA, ACCA (part-qualified or entirely qualified).
- Sturdy academic background in financial management, auditing, expense & management accounting, or business administration preferred.
- At least 12 years of related post-qualification experience in venture administration, financial management, and procurements under PSDP or donor-funded projects.
- Functioning experience with UN/International agencies and the Ministry of Climate Modify will be preferred.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare yearly work blueprints and cash plans for individual task cells and guarantee timely submission and approval.
- Arrange and submit yearly NIS statements and quarterly demands for fund allocation and release.
- Update monthly physical and financial progress on iPAS.
- Prepare venture physical and financial progress reports for Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Review Meetings.
- Deal with financial matters for meetings, workshops, and seminars organized under the project.
- Prepare payment requests and travel claims with supporting documentation; liaise with government bodies/donors for payment follow-ups.
- Keep up petty cash register, general ledger, and handle task accounts.
- Support tender documentation, bid dissemination, bid tabulation, and verify invoices before payment initiation.
