The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is looking for a Software Engineer to join its team in Lahore.
This is a contract position within the Information Technology division, where you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support the board's digital initiatives across the province.
In this role, you will work with a modern technology stack including ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET,.NET Core, MS SQL Server, Angular, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
You will be expected to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring high-quality output while meeting project deadlines.
The position requires a problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Eligibility and Qualification
To be eligible for this Software Engineer position, candidates must meet the following criteria
- Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) degree in Advanced Computing, Computational Science, Computer Engineering/Sciences, Computer Networks, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information System, or Network Engineering.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET,.NET Core, MS SQL Server, Angular, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Age: 23 to 45 years. Both genders are eligible.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET,.NET Core, and MS SQL Server.
- Build front-end components using Angular, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Transition between multiple projects without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
