Job Description

The Urban Unit is looking for a Specialist Monitoring & Coordination for the Punjab Budget-friendly Housing Program (PAHP). The job sits in the Planning and Development Board and centers on program-wide coordination and monitoring.

Qualification

Applicants need a Master's degree in Economics, Public Administration, or Management from a well-known nearby or international university. A higher degree is preferred.

  • Master's in Economics, Public Administration, or Management.
  • Higher degree (e.g., PhD) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of applicable experience in Monitoring and Coordination.
  • Experience in public sector and/or donor funded projects.
  • MS/M-Phil (18 years education) or Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years education) accepted.
  • Domicile needed for this position.

Role Responsibilities

  • Organize rollout activities among all concerned departments, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain close liaison with partner banks and financial institutions for beneficiary financing and verification.
  • Monitor execution progress and confirm timely resolution of operational and coordination issues.
  • Support collection, consolidation, and validation of scheme information from various stakeholders.
  • Arrange occupancy verification, beneficiary follow-up, and other monitoring activities.
  • Prepare and send in monthly, quarterly, and special progress reports.
  • Organize coordination meetings, progress evaluate meetings, field visits, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Assist timely communication, details sharing, and follow-up on decisions over entities.
