Job Overview
The Surveyor will work under the Punjab Land Record Authority's Project Management Unit at the Board of Revenue, Punjab.
This role supports land record modernization and revenue survey operations across the province, with a base in Lahore.
Surveyors in this unit are responsible for field measurements, geospatial data collection, and updating land records using GIS tools.
The position requires accuracy in surveying techniques and familiarity with digital mapping systems.
This is a contract role, part of a project-driven team focused on improving land administration services.
The work directly contributes to the authority's mandate of maintaining transparent and efficient land records.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations
- Minimum 14 years of education in GIS / Geomatics / Geography / Land Administration from an HEC recognized University / Institute, OR DAE (Surveying / GIS), OR Diploma / Certificate in Land Surveying from an institute recognized by TEVTA or from Survey Training Institute, Islamabad.
- 1 year of post qualification relevant experience for candidates having 14 years of education or DAE (Civil / Surveying / GIS).
- 2 years of relevant experience for candidates having Certificate / Diploma in Land Surveying from an institute recognized by TEVTA or from any Survey Training Institute, Islamabad.
- Degree areas: Civil Engineering/Sciences, Geographical Information System (GIS).
- Domicile is required for this position.
- Age: 21 to 70 years. Gender: Both.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys for land record verification and updating.
- Collect geospatial data using GPS and total stations.
- Process survey data and prepare maps using GIS software.
- Assist in maintaining land revenue records and cadastral maps.
- Coordinate with revenue officials and tehsil staff for survey operations.
