Job Description
The Urban Unit is hiring a Project Officer Software Development to join its group in Lahore. This role centers on developing, testing, and keeping up in-house software submissions and utilities that aid the unit's planning and data projects for the Government of Punjab.
The position involves customizing current systems, writing clean code, assisting in database design and improvement, and supporting system integrations via APIs. You’ll debug software defects, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and generate scripts to automate routine IT duties.
The function sphere also covers getting ready technical documentation, maintaining customer manuals, and providing training to finish visitors. This is a contract position for one year, best-suited for fresh graduates or early-career professionals with a powerful foundation in software development.
The Urban Unit functions on urban planning, research, and data-driven projects, offering exposure to real-world government IT systems.
Salary & Compensation
Estimated marketplace salary: PKR 70,000 – 100,000 per month.
Qualification
Candidates must have 16 years of education (Masters/Bachelors Hons) in Information Technology or Software Development from an HEC-recognized institution. Fresh applicants meeting the eligibility criteria are encouraged to register.
