The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) is hiring an Assistant Director for the role of Full Stack Python Developer.
This position sits within the authority's technology wing, which is responsible for digitizing and maintaining land records across the province.
As a full stack developer, you will build and maintain the web applications and backend services that support PLRA's operations, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
Your day-to-day work will involve designing Python applications, developing RESTful APIs, and integrating them with SQL and NoSQL databases.
You will collaborate with frontend developers and QA teams to deliver complete features, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews.
Deployment and maintenance on Linux and cloud environments will also be part of your responsibilities, along with debugging and optimizing performance.
This is a technical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across the stack—from database design to API development to basic frontend integration.
You will be expected to write clean, reusable code and contribute to technical discussions, making this a good fit for a developer who values code quality and teamwork.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- Education: BSCS, MCS, or BCS (4 years) or equivalent 16 years of education in Computer Engineering/Sciences.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience for Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) degree holders.
- Age: 24 to 34 years. Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python 3.x, OOP, exception handling, file handling, multithreading/multiprocessing, virtual environments (venv), and pip.
- Frameworks: Django, Flask, FastAPI.
- Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB. ORMs: Django ORM, SQLAlchemy.
- API Development: REST APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, JWT Authentication, OAuth.
- Frontend: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap.
- Version Control & DevOps: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps.
- Cloud & Containers: Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (basic).
Responsibilities
