Job Description

The Punjab Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA) is looking for a Chief Internal Auditor to lead its internal audit team, and based in Lahore, this role reports to the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.

Offered on a contract basis with a lump sum package, the Chief Internal Auditor will build certain financial integrity, compliance, and hazard management are sound throughout the authority’s public-private partnership projects.

A senior-level job, it calls for a sturdy understanding of audit frameworks, public sector financial rules, and targeted oversight. Experienced audit pros who can work independently and hand over assurance to stakeholders will discover this role a decent apt.

Qualification

  • Minimum 16 years of education in Finance or Accounting.
  • OR CA / ACCA / ACMA / CIMA / CPA / CIA qualification.
  • At least 15 years of applicable post-qualification experience.
  • Domicile of Punjab is needed for this position.
  • Both male and female applicants are eligible to register.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the internal audit function of the Punjab Public Private Partnership Authority.
  • Grow and put in place risk-based audit schemes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.
  • Confirm compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Arrange audit reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Organize with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Give advisory solutions on financial and operational matters.
