Job Overview

The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) is hiring a Deputy Director to serve as Technical Project Manager for its land record modernization initiatives.

This role sits at the center of technology-driven projects, where you will oversee the full lifecycle from planning through execution and delivery.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the authority's business objectives.

As the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.

The position demands strong technical knowledge, project management expertise, and leadership ability.

You will also have the authority to collaborate with clients, management, and team members to address concerns, exceptions, and project status updates.

The position is ideal for experienced project managers who thrive in a government sector environment and can drive complex technical projects to successful completion.

Eligibility and Qualification

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria

  • Education: Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) in Computer Engineering/Sciences or Project Management. Preferred degrees include BSCS, MCS, BCS (4 Years), or MS (PMP).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification: Must be PMP Certified.
  • Age: 25 to 40 years.
  • Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.
  • Domicile: Domicile is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Implement and enforce agile methodologies, Scrum, or other project management procedures for efficient workflow.
  • Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Oversee technical documentation, system requirements, and quality assurance processes.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
