Job Overview
The Punjab Cattle Market Management & Development Company (PCMMDC) has established a Project Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU) to plan, manage, and implement infrastructure modernization and improvement projects across cattle markets in Punjab.
The Manager MEP will be a key professional within this unit, responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of these projects.
The role involves planning, reviewing, coordinating, and supervising MEP works to ensure they align with approved designs, technical specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, project timelines, and budgetary requirements.
The Manager MEP will act as the technical lead, coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders, and will be responsible for reviewing MEP drawings, estimates, bills of quantities, and technical submissions.
Day-to-day, the position requires monitoring site execution, verifying completed works, and ensuring the effective testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of MEP systems.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with valid PEC Registration
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years of education)
- Age: 21 to 45 years
- Gender: Both
- Domicile is required for this position
Responsibilities
- Plan, review, coordinate, and supervise mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, project timelines, and budgetary requirements
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and relevant stakeholders
