The advertisement was published in Nawaiwaqt newspaper on 5 July 2026.
This recruitment covers eight Airman trades: Aero Trade, Aero Assist, PF&DI (Physical Fitness & Drill Instructor), Security, MTD Driver, Fire Fighter, Medical Assistant, and Musician. Each trade has specific eligibility criteria regarding education, age, height, and physical fitness.
Applicants must be unmarried male Pakistani citizens, such as residents of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The selection process covers online registration, intelligence test, academic test, physical test, medical examination, and meeting. There’s no submission fee, and winning applicants will assist in various PAF bases over Pakistan.

Salary & Compensation
Estimated market salary: PKR 70,000 – 150,000 per month.
Qualification
Educational requirements vary by trade. Most trades need Matric (Science) with minimum 65% marks. Medical Assistant needs Matric (Science) with at least 70% marks and Biology as a compulsory subject. Musician requires Matric (Arts or Science) in first division along with musical competencies.
- Aero Trade: Matric (Science) with minimum 65% marks.
- Aero Aid: Matric (Science) with minimum 65% marks.
- PF&DI: Matric (Science) with minimum 65% marks.
- Security: Matric (Science) with minimum 65% marks.
- MTD Driver: Matric (Science) with minimum 65% marks and valid LTV/HTV driving license.
- Fire Fighter: Matric (Science) with minimum 65% marks; driving license preferred.
- Medical Assistant: Matric (Science) with minimum 70% marks and Biology compulsory.
- Musician: Matric (Arts or Science) in first division with musical expertise.

- Upload scanned copies of required documents: Matric certificate, CNIC/B-Form, father's CNIC, domicile, and passport-size photographs.
- Submit the submission before the deadline of 19 July 2026. No fee is required.
- After registration, pause for the contact letter for intelligence and academic tests. Arrange physically for the fitness test.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform tasks according to assigned trade (technical, back, security, driving, fire fighting, medical, or music).
- Uphold physical fitness and pass periodic physical efficiency tests.
- Adhere to PAF discipline, uniform, and operational standards.
- Participate in training programs and ability development courses.
- Assist base operations and mission readiness as called for.
- Undertake shift responsibilities and deployments as per PAF requirements.

- Age limits vary by trade: Aero Trade 15.5–19 years, Aero Aid 17–20 years, PF&DI 16.5–21 years, Security 17–21 years, MTD Driver 17.5–21 years (up to 23 with valid license), Fire Fighter 17.5–21 years (up to 23 with license), Medical Assistant 16.5–20 years, Musician 16.5–20 years. Age calculated as on 28 December 2026.
- Height requirements: 163–188 cm for most trades; PF&DI calls for 178–188 cm; Security demands 175–188 cm; MTD Driver and Fire Fighter demand 168–188 cm.
- Physical fitness test contains 1.6 km run in 8 minutes, 15 push-ups in 2 minutes, 20 sit-ups, and 3 chin-ups in 2 minutes.
- Selection stages: online registration, intelligence test, academic test (English, Mathematics, Physics, General Science), physical test, medical examination, meeting, and closing merit lineup.
- Candidates must carry original documents (Matric certificate, CNIC/B-Form, father's CNIC, domicile, photographs, driving license if relevant) at the time of verification.
- Only unmarried male Pakistani citizens (covering AJK residents) are eligible. Married applicants can’t put in.
