Job Description
The Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) is looking for an Audit Specialist (IT/Systems) to join its internal audit group on a contract basis at Grade G-7. This role reports to the Manager Internal Audit and focuses on evaluating the organisation's digital infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and information governance.
The Audit Specialist will conduct technical audits of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, application controls, and digital assets. they’ll also perform special investigations related to cybersecurity incidents, cloud operations, and API integrations.
The position involves preparing technical audit files, identifying control weaknesses in digital solution delivery, and providing threat-based recommendations. This role suits experienced IT auditors who desire to operate in a high-stakes, tech-enabled government environment.

Salary & Compensation
Estimated market salary: PKR 120,000 – 250,000 per month.
Qualification
Candidates must have a minimum Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, IT, Management Info Systems (MIS), or a related technical field. Alternatively, qualified ACCA, CA, or ACMA professionals or finalists with a completed Bachelor's degree as above are eligible.
CISA or equivalent IT audit certifications (CISM, CISSP) are highly desirable.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or related technical field.
- Qualified ACCA, CA, or ACMA, or finalist with a completed Bachelor's degree as above.
- CISA (Certified Data Systems Auditor) or equivalent (CISM, CISSP) highly desirable.
- At least 4 years of understand-how (pre and post qualification) in IT audit, cybersecurity auditing, or systems assurance.
- Experience in Big 4 firms will be an advantage.
Role Responsibilities
- Execute specialised audits of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, application controls, and digital assets.
- Conduct audits and special investigations related to cybersecurity incidents, cloud operations, and API integrations.
- Prepare technical planning, execution, and reporting files for all IT-related assignments.
- Identify control weaknesses in digital solution delivery and system integrity, providing high-standard findings and fixes.
- Evaluate the implementation of figures governance and security of partner-delivered systems.
- Prepare and present IT audit reports with plain technical findings and danger-based recommendations.
- Liaise with technical teams (SRE, DevOps, and Data) during audit execution and interviews.
- Conduct follow-ups on recommended IT remediation actions and update the Audit Action Tracker.
