Job Description

Program Lead – Health Sector is listed by Pakistan Digital Authority. The Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) is looking for a Program Lead to drive digital health innovation.

This role sits in the Digital Innovation Lab and centers on designing, managing, and handing over planned programs that advance digital health in Pakistan. The Program Lead translates the lab’s vision into usable initiatives, organizes cross-functional teams, and confirms programs achieve measurable health and innovation outcomes.

This is a contract position based in Islamabad, offering the opportunity to function with government stakeholders, development partners, and the startup network. Salary & Compensation

Estimated market salary: PKR 120,000 – 250,000 per month.

Qualification

Applicants must keep a Bachelor's or Master's degree in health informatics, public health, medicine (MBBS), enterprise, economics, task management, or a related field. A minimum of six years of experience managing detailed programs in health, digital innovation, or development sectors is required.

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience managing complicated programs in health, digital innovation, or development sectors.
  • Verifiable experience in the public sector of conceiving, designing, and carrying out large-scale programs in the related vertical.
  • Strong task/program management abilities with proven capacity to provide effects in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Insight of digital health technologies and Pakistan’s health network.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal competencies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead wrap up planning, rollout, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned digital health programmes and targeted initiatives.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, development partners, technical teams, advisory boards, and network actors to define programme objectives, KPIs, roadmaps, timelines, and budgets.
  • Carry out thematic area-wise nationwide workshops to grow consensus on the approach forward.
  • Run routine scrum and coordination meetings with the Digital Innovation Lab team for Health and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Organize and present programme updates, planned reviews, and progress reports during governance forums involving PDA leadership.
  • Handle programme teams, execution partners, consultants, vendors, and external collaborators to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Spot chances for integration and shared gain throughout projects and lead the scale-up of winning pilots and innovation initiatives.
  • Monitor programme performance, risks, dependencies, and effect indicators; arrange finalize reports for leadership and stakeholders.
