Job Overview
The Public Sector Governance Specialist will sit within the Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit (TPRMPU), operating under the Planning and Development Board.
This is a senior role on the Transformation of Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit project, aimed at strengthening governance and public service delivery across the province.
The specialist will manage a project portfolio pipeline, applying program management methodologies and providing strategic oversight.
The role involves coordinating cross-sector initiatives and ensuring alignment with ADP and sector strategies.
A key part of the work is conducting institutional diagnostics, identifying governance weaknesses, and proposing evidence-based reforms.
The position also leads the development of sector-level strategies to improve public administration, fiscal management, and service delivery.
This is a policy-heavy role that requires deep familiarity with the Government of Punjab's structure, processes, and rules, including administrative, financial, and accountability procedures.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- 16 years of education in Project Management, Business, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, or Development Policy.
- 12 years of post-qualification experience in public or donor projects.
- Proven experience in formulating, analyzing, and implementing governance-related policies, strategies, and institutional frameworks at the provincial or federal level.
- Deep familiarity with the structure, processes, and rules of the Government of Punjab, including administrative, financial, and accountability procedures.
- Age: 34 to 55 years. Gender: Both.
