The Project Management Unit Shrimp Aquaculture, operating under the Fisheries Department, is offering a paid internship for Quantity Surveyor Interns.
This role is part of the Establishment of Shrimp Estate with Value Chain project at 58NB, Sargodha.
As an intern, you will work within a government-backed initiative aimed at developing shrimp farming infrastructure and value chains in Punjab.
Your day-to-day work will involve assisting senior quantity surveyors in preparing cost estimates, measuring and quantifying construction work, and reviewing project drawings and specifications.
You will also help in preparing tender documents, tracking material costs, and maintaining records of project expenditures.
This internship is designed to give hands-on exposure to quantity surveying practices within a public sector aquaculture project.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes engineers, aquaculture specialists, and project management staff.

Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in Civil Engineering or related sciences.
- First Division (60% and above) in the required degree.
- Age between 18 and 30 years.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction works.
- Measure and quantify work done at project sites.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Help prepare tender and bidding documents.
- Maintain records of material costs and project expenditures.
- Support senior quantity surveyors in cost control and reporting.
