Quantum Valley Pakistan, a technology initiative under the Ministry of Defence, is hiring a Contract Technical Solutions Manager in Islamabad. This PPS-9 role supports the CTO in executing the organization's technology and infrastructure roadmap.
The position centers on managing day-to-day data center operations, covering maintenance, capacity planning, and performance improvement. You’ll assist in designing, deploying, and upgrading infrastructure to ensure scalability and resilience. Monitoring network, storage, and compute environments for uptime and security compliance is a core task.
The role also involves coordinating with vendors for hardware and software procurement, keeping up technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with ISO and Tier certification standards. You’ll back incident management, perform root bring about analysis, and aid integrate rising technologies such as AI, Quantum, and IoT.
Participation in R&D collaborations and proof-of-concept testing is expected. Cybersecurity proven ways and regulatory compliance under PECA 2016 and PSS standards are central. Salary & Compensation
Estimated marketplace salary: PKR 120,000 – 250,000 per month.
Qualification
Applicants must hold an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Details Technology, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university. A PhD is preferred. Related certifications like CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent figures center certifications are desirable.

- Hands-on experience in information center operations, virtualization, cloud integration, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Exposure to rising technologies, research computing, or digital operate projects preferred.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist the CTO in rolling out the organization’s technology and infrastructure roadmap.
- Handle day-to-day figures center operations, such as maintenance, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Assist in the design, deployment, and upgrade of infrastructure to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Monitor network, storage, and compute environments, securing uptime and security compliance.
- Organize with vendors for hardware/software procurement, maintenance contracts, and SLA compliance.
- Uphold technical documentation, asset registers, and compliance with ISO and Tier certification standards.
- Assist in incident management, perform root lead to analysis (RCA), and ensure timely resolution of technical concerns.
- Aid integration of new technologies such as AI, Quantum, and IoT into current infrastructure.
