Job Overview
The Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit (TPRMPU), operating under the Planning and Development Board, is looking for a Research Associate to support its transformation agenda.
This is a project-based role that sits at the intersection of research, policy, and implementation, helping the unit generate evidence for decisions that shape provincial resource management.
In this position, you will conduct research and data analysis to back the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
You will help prepare annual work plans, technical studies, feasibility reports, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
The work involves collecting and organizing data from multiple sources, maintaining records, and supporting the development of policy frameworks and action plans.
You will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure smooth coordination and information sharing.
The role is hands-on and requires someone comfortable with both quantitative analysis and report writing.
Eligibility and Qualification
To be eligible for this Research Associate position, candidates must meet the following criteria
- 16 years of degree in Economics, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, LLB, Statistics, Finance, IT or related field from a foreign or local university duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- Additional certifications or training in research methods, data analysis, or project management will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, STATA) and research methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and presentations.
- Gender: Both. Age: 22 to 35 years.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and data analysis to support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects.
- Assist in preparation and administration of Annual Workplan.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to support evidence-based decision making.
- Support the development of policy frameworks, strategies, and action plans related to objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of technical studies, feasibility reports, and consultancies as required.
- Maintain up-to-date records of research findings, data, and reports for easy access and reference.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless coordination and information sharing.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
