This internship is part of the Establishment of Shrimp Estate with Value Chain project, run by the Project Management Unit Shrimp Aquaculture under the Fisheries Department.
The unit is tasked with developing a shrimp estate at 58NB, Sargodha, which involves setting up farms and hatcheries to support shrimp production.
As an intern, you will be placed within this project and gain hands-on exposure to shrimp farming and hatchery operations.
The role is designed for recent graduates who want practical experience in aquaculture.
You will work alongside project staff and learn the day-to-day operations of shrimp farms and hatcheries, from water quality management to larval rearing.

Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria
- Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree with 16 years of education
- Degree in Zoology or Fisheries
- Age between 18 and 30 years
- Both male and female candidates are eligible
- Domicile is required for this position
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily operations of shrimp farms and hatcheries
- Support water quality monitoring and management
- Help in larval rearing and feeding activities
- Record and maintain data on shrimp growth and health
- Participate in disease prevention and biosecurity measures
- Assist in maintenance of farm equipment and infrastructure
