The Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project (SSEIP) is a major initiative of the School Education & Literacy Department (SELD) to strengthen secondary education across the province.
The selected candidates will work within the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) in Karachi, contributing to the successful execution of project activities.
Each role carries distinct responsibilities.
The Project Manager Construction will oversee construction and rehabilitation of school facilities, ensuring quality and timely completion.
The PIU Engineer will provide technical support for civil works and infrastructure.
The Chief Teachers Training Specialist will design and manage teacher professional development programs.
The Examination Reforms Specialist will lead efforts to modernize examination systems.
These are management-level positions within a government-funded project, offering an opportunity to contribute to meaningful educational reforms in Sindh.

Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria as per the advertisement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (as per the specific position).
- For Project Manager Construction and PIU Engineer: degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- For Chief Teachers Training Specialist: degree in Education or related field.
- For Examination Reforms Specialist: degree in Education, Statistics, or related field.
- For Social Gender Specialist: degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or related field.
- Relevant professional experience in the respective area is preferred.
- Domicile and age requirements as per the government rules and the newspaper advertisement.
Responsibilities
- Project Manager Construction: Plan, execute, and supervise construction and renovation projects of secondary schools.
- PIU Engineer: Provide technical oversight for civil works, ensure compliance with design specifications, and monitor project progress.
- Chief Teachers Training Specialist: Develop and implement teacher training programs, assess training needs, and coordinate with training institutions.
- Examination Reforms Specialist: Design and pilot new examination formats, analyze results, and recommend policy improvements.
- Social Gender Specialist: Ensure gender mainstreaming in project activities, conduct gender analysis, and organize awareness sessions.
