The Global Investment & Gateway of Punjab Wing (GIGP), under the Services & General Administration Department of the Government of the Punjab, is recruiting a Director Investment Promotion / Global Regions. The position is based in Lahore and is offered on a contract basis under the Global Investment & Gateway of Punjab project.

The work also involves building region-specific attraction strategies, maintaining investor pipelines through Pakistan's missions abroad, foreign embassies, chambers of commerce and trade bodies, and coordinating with federal stakeholders including SIFC, BOI, MoFA and TDAP.
The Director also runs regional deal-flow reporting in the IRM/CRM system, prepares intelligence briefings for investor missions and roadshows, benchmarks Punjab against competing FDI destinations, convenes regional advisory boards, and delivers quarterly performance reviews to the Secretary GIGP.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, International Business, Economics, or Business Administration (MBA) from an HEC-recognised institution.
- Preference will be given to applicants who hold a degree from a globally recognised institution.
- Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in international business development, fund raising, private equity and/or investment attraction across multiple markets.

Responsibilities
- Deploy, lead and performance-manage Regional Managers covering North America, Europe, MENA, East Asia & ASEAN, and South Asia & Africa.
- Develop region-specific investment attraction strategies based on each market's capital-export patterns, sector strengths, regulatory environment and cultural norms, so that GIGP's value proposition is localised across the five macro-regions.
- Maintain bilateral investor pipelines with Pakistan's missions abroad, foreign embassies in Islamabad, chambers of commerce and trade bodies, and institutionalise regular engagement calendars with Commercial Counsellors and Economic Ministers in priority markets.
- Coordinate formally with federal stakeholders SIFC, BOI, MoFA and TDAP so that GIGP's regional activities complement rather than duplicate federal trade and investment promotion efforts.
- Architect and operationalise a diaspora engagement strategy by mapping high-net-worth Pakistani diaspora clusters in the Gulf, North America and the UK, building advisory relationships with diaspora business councils, and channelling diaspora capital, expertise and advocacy into Punjab's investment pipeline.
- Own regional deal-flow reporting and pipeline management within the IRM/CRM system, ensuring every regional lead is captured, geo-tagged, scored and visible in real-time dashboards presented to the Secretary GIGP and senior leadership.
- Provide regional intelligence briefings for investor missions and roadshows, equipping the Director, Promotion & Marketing and participating delegations with market-specific investor profiles, cultural protocols, competitive positioning data and meeting preparation materials.
- Produce and maintain regional competitive intelligence assessments benchmarking Punjab against rival FDI destinations, including Vietnam, Bangladesh and Ethiopia for manufacturing; Morocco and Turkey for nearshoring to Europe; UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt for MENA capital; and India for IT/ITeS.
- Build and convene regional advisory boards comprising diaspora leaders, business council chairs, former ambassadors and multinational executives with Punjab exposure, providing GIGP with strategic counsel and door-opening capacity in each macro-region.
- Design and execute an annual regional roadshow calendar of no fewer than 10 targeted investor engagement events across the five macro-regions, coordinating logistics, investor targeting and follow-up protocols with the Director, Promotion & Marketing.
- Present quarterly regional performance reviews to the Secretary GIGP, consolidating pipeline status, conversion metrics, competitive developments and strategic recommendations with corrective action plans for underperforming regions.
