The Green Credit Officer sits within the Punjab Environment Protection Department, working specifically on the CM Punjab Green Credit Program.
This initiative is part of the provincial government's push to incentivize environmentally positive actions.
The officer is the key person who verifies that registered projects genuinely deliver the environmental benefits they claim, before any green credits are issued.

You will scrutinize applications, conduct physical inspections, and audit registered actions to ensure they meet the program's standards.
You will also coordinate project activities, prepare reports, and document everything for the record.
The position reports to higher authorities and carries the responsibility of safeguarding the integrity of the green credit system.

Eligibility and Qualification
To be eligible for the Green Credit Officer position, candidates must meet the following criteria
- Bachelor's degree (16 Years Qualification) in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
- 06 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in environmental monitoring, sustainability and climate related matters, reporting of environmental information, verification of environmental actions/environmental audits.
- Age: 27 to 45 years.
- Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Scrutinize applications of environmentally positive actions for issuance of green credits.
- Conduct field visits for inspection and verification of registered actions/projects.
- Evaluation and auditing of successful/registered actions in connection with green credits.
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, and resources.
- Prepare project reports, MRV reports, documentation, and recommendations.
- Any other task assigned by the higher authorities.
