The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA) is hiring a Deputy Manager (Internal Affairs) for its Monitoring & Internal Affairs division in Lahore, Punjab, under the PERA Contractual Staff project.
The role focuses on field-level oversight of staff conduct, complaint verification, and identifying malpractices such as bribery, misuse of authority, and behavioral issues.
The position is central to maintaining integrity and discipline within PERA's enforcement operations across the province.
The Deputy Manager (Internal Affairs) will work at the field level, conducting discreet visits, spot checks, and preliminary fact-finding to support Efficiency & Disciplinary Proceedings.
The role requires close liaison with district field offices, enforcement stations, and supervisory officers to monitor behavior-related complaints and ensure confidentiality of sources and sensitive information.
This is a hands-on role for professionals with a background in law enforcement or intelligence, offering a chance to contribute to regulatory compliance and institutional accountability in Punjab.
Candidates with a Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree (16 years of education) and at least 5 years of experience in Armed Forces, Police, or other law enforcement agencies are eligible.
Preference will be given to those with experience in premier intelligence organizations.

Eligibility and Qualification
The eligibility criteria are designed to attract experienced professionals from law enforcement and intelligence backgrounds who can handle sensitive internal affairs duties with discretion and integrity.
- Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in any discipline from an HEC recognized institution.
- Preference for candidates with experience in premier intelligence organizations within Pakistan.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with policy making and implementation processes.
- Age between 24 and 60 years.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible.
- Domicile is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform field-based internal affairs duties within assigned jurisdiction.
- Maintain checks and balances over field staff activities, conduct, public dealing, and enforcement behavior.
- Identify malpractices, bribery, financial embarrassment of citizens, misuse of authority, negligence, and misconduct in field operations.
- Collect and verify credible information regarding illegal or corrupt practices by employees.
- Identify loopholes in field enforcement practices, operational procedures, and citizen interaction.
- Prepare field intelligence reports, complaint verification reports, and preliminary investigation notes.
- Provide early assessment of matters that may attract Efficiency & Disciplinary Proceedings.
- Recommend preventive, corrective, administrative, or disciplinary measures to the Manager or Head Internal Affairs & Intelligence.
