The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA) is hiring a System Analyst for its Contractual Staff project in Lahore, Punjab, for the year 2026. This role, classified at level SPPP-04, is central to translating approved business requirements into scalable, secure, and interoperable digital systems that support provincial monitoring operations.
As a core systems engineering layer, the System Analyst will bridge business needs and technical implementation, ensuring that PERA's digital infrastructure aligns with governance processes and regulatory objectives.
The System Analyst will be responsible for converting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) into System Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), designing system architecture, and overseeing the entire SDLC from requirements to deployment.
The role involves multi-tier architecture design, modular system design for scalability, and microservice-oriented structuring where applicable.
Integration architecture is a key focus, including API-based interoperability across departmental systems, secure service-to-service communication, and middleware coordination for cross-system synchronization.
The analyst will also handle database and data layer design, including logical and physical data modeling, entity-relationship structuring for monitoring datasets, and data governance alignment to ensure consistency, integrity, and lineage.
This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in IT, computer science, or software engineering, who have at least five years of post-qualification experience, including one year in the public sector.
The role demands analytical and presentation skills, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent oral and written communication.

Eligibility and Qualification
Experience in private entities is acceptable if the entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other public sector regulatory authority.
- Bachelor's degree (Hons) in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or any other relevant/similar degree from an HEC recognized university.
- 5 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field, including at least one year in the public sector.
- Age: 24 to 60 years.
- Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.

Responsibilities
- Oversee SDLC coordination from requirement to deployment, including UAT planning, validation support, and regression/integration testing coordination.
- Plan performance optimization, scalability for high-volume monitoring data, and security architecture alignment (role-based access, audit trails).
- Produce documentation including system architecture diagrams (HLD/LLD), API documentation standards, and deployment/configuration guides.
