The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA) is hiring a Team Lead Full Stack for its contractual staff in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, with applications open until 27-Aug-2026. This role leads end-to-end development of web applications and digital platforms across the PERA software ecosystem, covering UI/UX implementation in React, backend API development in.NET, and database operations in SQL Server.
The Team Lead Full Stack will own the complete development lifecycle, from frontend React components to backend ASP.NET Core Web APIs and SQL Server database operations.
This includes designing RESTful APIs, implementing authentication and authorization, writing optimized queries, and building reusable components.
The role mandates the use of AI coding assistants like Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor as a core part of the development workflow, promoting AI-augmented coding practices within the team.
The position also involves managing Git workflows, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as leading sprint ceremonies, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
This role is ideal for experienced full-stack developers with a strong background in React and.NET, who are comfortable working in a government IT environment.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience, including 4 years in a team lead or senior developer capacity.
Public-sector or enterprise-grade software experience is preferred, and experience in private entities is accepted if the entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other Public Sector Regulatory Authority.
Eligibility and Qualification
Candidates must meet the educational and experience requirements, including a 16-year education (Masters or Bachelors Hons) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
The role demands a minimum of 8 years of full-stack development experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership or senior developer position.
A demonstrable portfolio of React and.NET applications is required, and experience in public-sector or enterprise-grade software is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end development across React (frontend) and.NET (backend) layers.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with ADO.NET and SQL Server as the data layer.
- Build reusable, scalable React components following modern patterns (hooks, context API, lazy loading).
- Implement.NET Web API endpoints with proper authentication, authorization, and error handling.
- Write optimized SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views for business logic and reporting.
- Promote and enforce AI-augmented coding practices within the team for maximum independent output.
- Use AI tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, and test case creation.
- Manage Git branching, merging, and pull request workflows across the team.
- Configure and maintain Docker containers for consistent development and deployment environments.
